GHYC Junior Sail’s mission is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for youth. Their programs develop local sailors at all skill levels and challenge them to achieve confidence and independence on the water. Karl participated in the GHYC Junior Sail program as a youth. Karl’s foundation proudly supports this youth program. Developing the skills, experience and knowledge on the water for our youth leads to a healthy community.
Harvest For Hunger
Harvest for Hunger of Colorado, located in Snowmass Village, is a charitable foundation dedicated to reducing food waste in the Roaring Fork Valley and helping those in need. Founded by ski bums, they realized there was a disconnect between the fortunate and the less fortunate. Karl Arthur Severson Foundation is proud to sponsor this community-based food program.
